What Does it Mean to Have a Document Notarized?
Notarization includes three important parts:
Identity Verification – The signer must prove who they are.
Willingness & Awareness – The signer must understand and agree to the document.
Authentication – The notary certifies and logs the act in a notary journal.
Why Should You Get a Document Notarized?
✅ Deters fraud & forgery
✅ Offers legal/lawful protection
✅ Adds credibility to the document
✅ Serves as self-authenticating evidence in court
A notarized document speaks for itself - no witness needed.
At ZaKar Notary Services, we are dedicated to notarizing documents properly and lawfully every time.
We avoid common errors by:
1. Always requiring the signer to appear in person
verifying identity with valid ID.
2. Completing notary certificates correctly & legibly
3. Recording every notarization in a notary journal.
4. Using a secured, legal notary seal and stamp.
5. Returning all pages of documents.
6. Complying fully with Texas State Notary Law
